Timeline Poster

This double sided-poster project communicates an incomplete timeline of women’s contributions to the comics industry over the last century. Beginning in 1909 with Rose O’Neill and ending in 2006 with Alison Bechdel, the poster highlights notable figures and their works, as well as historical events that impacted the industry and its artists.

Post-Project Workshop

Motion Graphic Video

The end of this project included a two-day workshop geared towards translating the poster’s contents into a short video. With a focus on the different eras of comic design and their corresponding historical events, the video serves as a teaser for the information expressed on the back side of the poster.
