About Me

My name is Hallie King and I am a graduate of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual arts at Washington University in St. Louis, with a BFA in Communication Design and a minor in Human-Computer Interaction.

My recent professional design experiences have centered around design and art direction in the advertising space, as well as branding, print, and interaction design for the visual and performing arts. My personal practice covers a broad array of disciplines including book design, illustration, installation, and motion design, and this year I was featured on the GDUSA Students to Watch list for 2024.

When I’m not designing I can often still be found making something, whether it’s a knit or crochet project, a dessert (I make a great peach pie), or a miniature plein-air gouache painting.
